Tungsten bar refers to a high-precision tungsten bar made by melting or sintering high-purity tungsten powder into a tungsten slab or bar blank, followed by a series of processes such as forging, rolling, machining, polishing, etc. According to the different cross-section shapes, tungsten bars can be divided into tungsten round bars, tungsten flat bars, tungsten square bars, and so on.

Tungsten Bar Application

After quenching and tempering, the tungsten bar has high hardness, good wear resistance and good working performance at high temperature. Tungsten bars are widely used in:
1. Cutting tool head for machining, tungsten wire for lighting equipment and various heat conductors;
2. Manufacture high-grade automobile's crankshaft, cylinder tube's burden, casting various heat-resistant steel's burden;
3. It is widely used in the manufacture of guns, artillery, rockets, satellites, aircraft and ships;
4. Tungsten bars can be used in plasma rotating electrode equipment to manufacture spherical tungsten powder;
5. Tungsten bars can also be used to make products such as tungsten crucibles and tungsten evaporation boats.

Tungsten Round Bar

Tungsten round bar refers to a high-purity tungsten bar with a circular cross-section shape. It is also known as a tungsten rod and is the most common type of tungsten bar.
