    Zirconium bar refers to a type of zirconium metal bar that uses high-purity zirconium powder to be melted or pressed and sintered into zirconium billets, and then machined into different shapes. According to the different cross-section shapes, zirconium bars can be divided into zirconium round bars, zirconium flat bars, zirconium square bars, and so on. According to the different contents of zirconium and hafnium, zirconium bars can be divided into general industrial zirconium bars and nuclear grade industrial zirconium bars. The main grades are: UNS R60700, R60702, R60705, R60001.

    Zirconium Bar Application

    According to the different cross-sectional shapes and zirconium and hafnium content, zirconium bars can be used in different occasions and fields. The details are as follows:
    1. High purity zirconium bars can be used to produce zirconium sputtering targets for sputtering deposition and coating;
    2. High purity zirconium round bars can be used in plasma rotating electrode equipment to manufacture spherical zirconium powder;
    3. Zirconium bars can be processed into vessels such as zirconium crucibles and zirconium evaporation boats;
    4. Zirconium bars can be processed into parts of mechanical equipment in general industry; In the nuclear industry, zirconium bars can be used as control rods;
    5. Zirconium bars can be processed into zirconium products such as zirconium tubes, zirconium flanges, and zirconium standard parts.
