Niobium crucible is made of high purity niobium materials. It has strong resistance to high temperature and deformation. According to different shapes, niobium crucibles can be divided into tapered, square, rectangular, cylindrical, boat and so on. It can be widely used in rare earth smelting, high temperature sintering plate, chemical corrosion resistant container, sputtering and evaporation container and other occasions.
According to the different processing methods, the niobium crucible can be divided into four types: stamped, machined, sintered and welded. Among them:
Stamped Niobium Crucible
Stamped niobium crucible is to select high-quality
niobium plate or
niobium foil with appropriate mold for single or multiple stamping production, and finally produce qualified products. This process has moderate cost, high dimensional accuracy and relatively high mechanical properties, which is suitable for the production of small and medium-sized crucibles.
Machined Niobium Crucible
Mechanical processing of niobium crucible is to select high-quality
niobium rod, and finally produce qualified niobium crucible by turning. The niobium crucible produced by this process has excellent mechanical properties, but it wastes a lot of niobium material, and the price of niobium material is relatively expensive, so the cost of niobium crucible is relatively high.
Sintered Niobium Crucible
Sintered niobium crucible is to select suitable niobium powder, press it by isostatic pressing technology, and then carry out vacuum high-temperature sintering to produce niobium crucible blank, and then cooperate with mechanical processing to finally produce the required size. This process is suitable for the production of medium and large-scale niobium crucible.
Welded Niobium Crucible
Welded niobium crucible is to roll
niobium sheets or niobium foils with appropriate size, weld at the joint, weld round plate at the other end of cylinder, and finally conduct proper surface and weld treatment, size correction, and finally produce qualified crucible. The production cost of this process is low, and it is suitable for industries where the requirements of crucible size are not strict.
