Nano chromium powder refers to chromium nanoparticles with an average particle size of less than 100 nm. Chromium nanopowder needs to be produced by special production process.

The size of chromium nanoparticles is too small to be accurately measured by laser particle size analyzer. Therefore, the particle size of nano chromium powder is generally determined through observation and measurement by scanning electron microscope.

Nano chromium powder should be sealed and stored in a dry and cool environment, and should not be exposed to the air for a long time to prevent moisture and agglomeration, affecting the dispersion performance and use effect. In addition, heavy pressure should be avoided, and contact with oxidants should not be allowed.

Chromium Nanopowder Application

Nano chromium powder can be used to make stainless steel, auto parts, tools, tapes and videotapes. It can also be used as light resistant and heat resistant coatings, as well as colorants for abrasives, glass, ceramics, and catalysts for chemical synthesis.
