Spherical molybdenum powder is a kind of refractory metal powder which is spherical under scanning electron microscope (SEM). Compared with irregular molybdenum powder, spherical molybdenum powder has better fluidity. Spherical molybdenum powder is generally produced by plasma rotating electrode equipment. According to different production processes, spherical molybdenum powder can be divided into plasma spheroidized spherical molybdenum powder and agglomerated spherical molybdenum powder. Compared to plasma spheroidized spherical molybdenum powder, agglomerated spherical molybdenum powder has better cost performance. Compared to agglomerated spherical molybdenum powder, plasma spheroidized spherical molybdenum powder has better sphericity and better fluidity. And the spherical molybdenum powder has smooth and clean surface, little hollow powder and satellite powder, little gas inclusion and high quality.

Spherical Molybdenum Powder Application

According to different production processes, spherical molybdenum powder can be divided into plasma spheroidized spherical molybdenum powder and agglomerated spherical molybdenum powder. Compared to plasma spheroidized spherical molybdenum powder, agglomerated spherical molybdenum powder has better cost performance. Compared to agglomerated spherical molybdenum powder, plasma spheroidized spherical molybdenum powder has better sphericity and better fluidity. The two are applied to different occasions and fields respectively.
