Titanium carbide powder refers to carbide ceramic powder with gray appearance. The chemical formula is TiC. The molecular weight is 59.89. The melting point is 3140 ± 90 ℃, the boiling point is 4820 ℃, and the relative density is 4.93. The hardness is greater than 9. Titanium carbide is insoluble in water, but soluble in nitric acid and aqua regia.
According to different particle sizes, titanium carbide powder can be divided into coarse titanium carbide powder, fine titanium carbide powder, extremely fine titanium carbide powder, ultra-fine titanium carbide powder and titanium carbide nano powder. According to different shapes, titanium carbide powder can be divided into spherical titanium carbide powder and irregular titanium carbide powder.
