Molybdenum sheet is a type of thin
molybdenum plate with a thickness less than 6 mm. It is made by pressing high-purity
molybdenum powder, sintering it into molybdenum slab, and then rolling, annealing, and other processes to produce high-purity molybdenum sheet. Compared to molybdenum plates, the thickness of molybdenum sheets is thinner. According to the purity of raw materials, molybdenum sheets can be divided into 3N (99.9%) high-purity molybdenum sheets, and 3N5 (99.95%) high-purity molybdenum sheets.
Molybdenum Sheet Application
Molybdenum sheets can be used in various occasions and fields. The details are as follows:
1. Molybdenum sheets can be processed into molybdenum products such as
molybdenum strips,
molybdenum foils, molybdenum evaporation boats, etc;
2. High purity molybdenum sheets can be processed into rectangular
molybdenum sputtering targets for sputtering coating.
3. Molybdenum plates can be used to produce molybdenum insulation screens and heating elements for molybdenum boats and high-temperature furnaces;
4. Molybdenum plates can be used to make electric light source parts and vacuum devices.
5. Small sized molybdenum sheets can be used for scientific research experiments and testing.
