Tungsten wire is a tungsten metal wire made by melting or sintering high-purity tungsten powder into
tungsten bars, and then forging and drawing the tungsten bars. According to the different cross-sectional shapes, tungsten wires can be divided into
tungsten round wires and
tungsten flat wires.
Tungsten Wire Application
Tungsten wire has the characteristics of high melting point, high resistivity, good strength, and low vapor pressure, and can be used in various occasions and fields. The details are as follows:
1. Tungsten wire can be used as a heating material for high-temperature furnaces, as a heating element for electronic tubes, and as a reinforcing rib for composite materials;
2. Tungsten wire can be used to make filaments for various incandescent and halogen tungsten lamps, as well as electrodes for gas discharge lamps;
3. Tungsten wire can be used as the cathode of gas discharge lamps;
4. Tungsten wire can be used to make springs, brackets, leads, tungsten twisted wires, heaters, and high-temperature components in electric light sources and electronic devices;
5. High purity tungsten wire can be cut into tungsten pellets for evaporation coating;
