    Rhenium bar is a high purity rhenium metal bar made by smelting or static pressing high purity rhenium powder into rhenium billets, and then undergoing a series of processes such as forging, rolling, and annealing. Depending on the density, a rhenium bar is a rhenium metal bar with a dark gray or bright silver appearance. According to different cross-sectional shapes, rhenium bars can be divided into rhenium square bars, rhenium flat bars, and rhenium round bars. According to the purity of raw materials, rhenium bars can be divided into 4N high purity rhenium bars and 5N high purity rhenium bars. According to different usage requirements, rhenium bars can be divided into "high density rhenium bars" and "medium density rhenium bars".

    Rhenium Bar Application

    The purity and densification of the chemical components are the main reference indexes to evaluate the quality of rhenium bar. Depending on the purity, density, and shape, rhenium rods can be used in different situations and fields. The details are as follows:
    1. Rhenium bar can be used as the element additive of casting superalloy. 
    2. It can be used in the key structural parts of high-performance fighter and large aircraft engines, as well as the high-temperature alloy parts in the fields of aerospace, military weapon equipment manufacturing, and other high-temperature resistant fields.
    3. High purity and ultra high purity rhenium rods can be used to produce high purity rhenium sputtering targets.
    4. High purity rhenium rods can be used to produce high purity spherical rhenium powder.
