Nickel strip is a kind of nickel strip with relatively thin thickness (0.2-5.0 mm) made of high-purity nickel raw materials. Its thickness is between
nickel foil and nickel plate. It is thicker than nickel foil and thinner than nickel plate. It is a common nickel metal material.
Surface Quality Requirements of Nickel Strip
1. The nickel strip surface shall be smooth and clean, free of wind layer, cracks, bubbles, pricks, folds and inclusions;
2. Slight local defects such as scratches, spots, pits, pressed objects and roll marks that do not make the strip thickness exceed the allowable deviation are allowed, and slight oxidation color, darkening and slight local oil stains are not used as the basis for scrapping;
3. Both sides of the nickel strip shall be cut flush without burrs, cracks and curls.
4. Nickel strip shall be straight, but slight wave is allowed; The side curvature of the strip shall not be greater than 3 mm per meter.

Nickel strip is mainly used in the manufacturing of nickel cadmium, nickel hydrogen, nickel batteries, combination batteries and instruments, telecommunications, electric vacuum, special bulbs and other industries.
