Molybdenum crucible is made of high purity molybdenum materials. According to different shapes, molybdenum crucibles can be divided into tapered, square, rectangular, cylindrical, boat and so on. Molybdenum crucibles are mainly used in industries such as metallurgy, rare earth, monocrystalline silicon, solar energy, artificial crystals, and mechanical processing.
According to the different processing methods, the molybdenum crucible can be divided into four types: stamped, machined, sintered and welded. Among them:
Stamped Molybdenum Crucible
Stamped molybdenum crucible is to select high-quality
molybdenum plate with appropriate mold for single or multiple stamping production, and finally produce qualified products. This process has moderate cost, high dimensional accuracy and relatively high mechanical properties, which is suitable for the production of small and medium-sized crucibles.
Machined Molybdenum Crucible
Mechanical processing of molybdenum crucible is to select high-quality
molybdenum rods, and finally produce qualified molybdenum crucible by turning. It has excellent mechanical properties but wastes a lot of molybdenum material, and the cost of molybdenum crucible is relatively high.
Sintered Molybdenum Crucible
Sintered molybdenum crucible is to select suitable
molybdenum powder, press it by isostatic pressing technology, and then carry out vacuum high-temperature sintering to produce molybdenum crucible blank, and then cooperate with mechanical processing to finally produce the required size. This process is suitable for the production of medium and large-scale molybdenum crucibles.
Welded Molybdenum Crucible
Welded molybdenum crucible is to roll
molybdenum sheets or
molybdenum foils with appropriate size, weld at the joint, weld round plate at the other end of cylinder, and finally conduct proper surface and weld treatment, size correction, and finally produce qualified crucible. The production cost of this process is low, and it is suitable for industries where the requirements of crucible size are not strict.
